Trained at Kingston School of Art and the Royal Academy Schools, London
Married to the artist Michael Fairclough

1965 – 67 Rome Scholar in Engraving, British School at Rome.
1967 Studied at S.W. Hayter's Atelier 17, Paris.
1960 – 2001 Fellow of Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
1987 – 1993 Member of Printmakers Council
1997 – 2001 Member of New English Art Club.

1962 RA Schools Silver Medal (1st prize) for drawing
1963 RA Schools Bronze Medal (1st prize) for painting in monochrome
1963 RA Schools Landseer Award for Painting
1963-64 Royal Academy of Arts David Murray Studentships
